Fingers Crossed..

Jon applies for his Master's in about 7 mths... and I sure hope we end up here...

BOSTON ARCHITECTURE COLLEGE

So it's possible we may be packing our bags soon..

Sorry Barb.
Just think.. Boston is much closer than Jamaica.

Not following her sister's footsteps ................. what a shame.

I tried convincing her.. but nothing worked. She left cheerleading behind and it looks like this next year my little sister is going to be a Viewmont Vykelle. So I guess I'm suppose to say Congrats or something...

You were quite the cheerleader and sure would have made a cute D'Ette.. but I guess I will still support you. Just don't be surprised when you don't get asked out on one date throughout your highschool days, since everyone will be scared of your father watching your every move. But I guess I'm ok with that.

But really... CONGRATULATIONS.... and who knows.. maybe you'll take the Vykelle's to State.

Just another day at the zoo..

Me: Hmm... I wonder what kind of animal that is?
Cass: It's a Rataku
Me: Ha ha.. a what?
Cass: A RATAKU... (DUH)
Me: Oh........ok..... what's that?
Cass: No actually... It' s a Porcupine.

I'm still not sure what the animal was.. but I don't think it was a Rataku or a Porcupine. It was so much fun going to the zoo with Cass and her preschool. Thanks for the invite Ash.

She is the coolest little buddy I know.

DONE and DONE..

Well Well Well.. I'm a little behind.. but now that I have a little more free time, I'll be able to keep up with this blogging world.

First update..
The LDSBC Portfolio Event was on the 2nd of April.. and this was probably one of the most stressful and time consuming projects I have ever worked on. The project was to include our portfolio representing a variety of our projects, business cards, resume, and a complete project on display. Everyone did such a great job.. and let's just say some people went a little overboard. I'm not sure how I pulled it off, but I was awarded Student Choice which was pretty sweet.. (I guess the bribing worked)

Second update..

I FINALLY did it!! I GRADUATED!! No more Math or English classes.. No more quizzes or tests.. No more staying up all night doing homework... No more going to Kinko's at 3 am to print out projects.. and the best of all.. Jon doesn't have to help me with AutoCAD anymore... (he loves that more than I do).

Jon took me to Eggs in the City for breakfast.. and I guarantee it won't be the last time. I highly recommend the French Toast. Simply amazing and such a cute restaurant! The graduation lasted a couple hours.. but it wasn't the most exciting event I have ever been to.

Getting the Diploma.. NBD

Lauren.. Me.. and Chels

You can't tell with this smile.. but underneath he's bitter since he has 3 more years..
Sorry?

The siblings.. cute.
Barb refused to be in the pic.. and the Coach was out of town.
I still am their favorite though.

Love these two ladies..

We then went and got some lunch at Winger's with all of the fam.. and then enjoyed the rest of the day in the finally nice weather chilling in downtown SLC.

Jon's cute new graduation outfit for me.. (luckily he has a fashion designer as a sister)

I also got these beautiful flowers from my mother-in-law, and some big bucks from the parentals and Carlton.

Can't complain.

Hopefully we will get to see each other for more than 2 hours a day now..
I'll keep my fingers crossed.

I still can't believe that I'm graduated though.. craziness.

Last update..

I just started my new job as an Interior Designer at Ethan Allen. Kind of nervous. So wish me good luck.

Hey.. I'M NOT 3 ANYMORE!!

My adorable niece Cassidy turned 4 today.. and she did not hesitate to let everybody know. We celebrated her birthday at "Grandma Meow's" with dinner, cake, and plenty of gifts. It wasn't a surprise that she got totally spoiled... again.

Birthday Girl

Homemade by Grandma Meow

Cute Fish getting in on the action.

She didn't waste any time..

Cass loves singing to the Mama Mia soundtrack.. guarantee she knows every word. So we decided to get her a performance outfit of course.

Looks like we know what to get Fish when he turns 2..

Happy Birthday!!

It's Official.. He's going to JAMAICA!!

DJ opened his call last night with family and friends, and discovered that he will be serving his mission in Kingston, Jamaica come June 10, English Speaking (well sort of.. it takes about 3 months to catch on to their English language) He is so excited, and I'm sure somewhat nervous! But we are all excited for him... and it just gives Jon and I an excuse to vacation in about 2 yrs. and make a pit stop to the Dominican Republic where Jon served.

Getting ready to open his call.. just so anxious.

Even got the fist pump! (always a good sign)

Delivering the exciting news!

CONGRATS AGAIN!!
Just stay away from the weed, water, and the ladies and you'll do just fine..

Is he really old enough?

DJ Tanner (aka Davis) gets his mission call this Wednesday. Crazy that he is really getting ready to go. My guess is that he will be going to Korea..and will speak Korean.. only because he doesn't want to learn a language. Jon thinks that he is on his way to Perugia, Barb is guessing Chicago, Jeff is thinking Brazil or some island, and I'm not even sure McElle knows what a mission is.. : ) I'm pretty sure Barb is going to have a nervous break down.
