Yes, still trying to get caught up on my blog, but really, I'm so far behind at this point, that I might as well just highlight everything in one single post. Hopefully I will be able to stay caught up moving forward, but I'm not making any promises.
A lot of new things are happening for the Galbraith family..
JON IS OFFICIALLY DONE WITH SCHOOL, AND HAS GRADUATED WITH HIS MASTER'S DEGREE!!!!!!
We have been waiting for this Big Day for quite some time. I seriously couldn't be more proud of Jon, and so happy that I finally get to see him a lot more! Even though he has already stepped in as the annoying husband :) But I guess they all are, right? I guess he is just trying to make up for the past 4 years. Luckily he was able to get a nice promotion with the firm he has already been working with, so he is now just planning on staying with them for the next while. He has been spending a lot of free time catching up on golf, and will be going fly fishing on Monday for the first time in forever. Slowly, but surely, he will be out of the awkward phase of only being able to talk about architecture, since it has basically consumed his life and everything else.
Another big event, my little brother Davis got married earlier this month! Still can't believe he is old enough, especially since he hadn't been off of his mission for an entire year. Weird to think I was right around the same age when I got married, he still just seems like a baby. It's amazing how different it is when planning a wedding from the guy's side. Not nearly as stressful, and it didn't seem like we had to do anything which was super nice. The wedding turned out really beautiful, and it ended up being a really nice day.
Last, but certainly not least... WE ARE HAVING A BABY GIRL!!! :)
I am due on October 14th, and on Sunday I will officially be 20 weeks, halfway!! Can't believe I am already so far along. However, it does seem forever ago when we first found out we were pregnant. No one can prepare you for finally getting that positive mark on the test, regardless of how long you have been waiting for that day. I'm pretty sure I took three more tests over the next two days, just to make sure.. haha. The first trimester of my pregnancy seemed it was never going to end, and now I'm already well into the second trimester. I was one of the really lucky one's to get to enjoy the fun morning (more like 24/7) sickness, which wasn't awesome what so ever. Now that has passed, the rest of my pregnancy has been a breeze. We had our first "official" ultrasound (went to Fetal Photo around 15 weeks) on Monday, and this little peanut is already a whooping 12 ounces, and is measuring 5 days early. We may have a chunky little babe on our hands. She is also already kicking like crazy!! Felt the first little flutters a little before 16 weeks, and just last week, Jon felt her for the first time. Such a cool experience! Now she just goes to town all day long, especially while I'm just sitting at my desk at work. Keeps me entertained on those long drawn out days. Pregnancy is so different than I could have ever imagined. It still doesn't feel real some times, since it seems that we had waited for this day for a really long time, but truly feeling blessed for this little miracle growing inside of me!
Sorry for the novel, and only one picture, but let's be real... I doubt anyone is even checking in on my blog anyways.. so might as well document all of this for myself :)

I check it :-) I called it the 24/7 sickness as well. I don't know why it is called morning sickness. I think they need to change the name. I'm glad you are out of that stage. Feeling the baby move is the greatest. It makes the first trimester worth it. I am so excited for you and Jon. I love that you, me and Jen are all having girls! We will have to try getting together when she is here for the summer.
I always check it! SOOOOO excited for you Whit! You'll absolutely love being a mommy and especially dressing up a little girl...I'm seriously obsessed! Love you and congrats!!
Congratulations!! We are so excited for you, and congrats to Jon for finishing his program! What an exciting time for you guys. Hope to run into you both soon!
