Allergies from all the animals and hay,
Corn Dogs and Funnel Cakes,
even deep fried twinkies and pb & j's.
Rickety Ferris Wheels,
Overload of people watching,
even saw the smallest lady in the world.
(thanks for ruining our lives Ash, and making us feel depressed the rest of the day)
But it was all worth it to spend the day with our favorite little buddies.
Fish bug was loving every minute of it.
and Cass wanted to touch and try out everything.
Even Ash got in on the fun.

Last time I visited the fair, I went to the Britney Spears concert when she was still rockin' it in her school girls uniform.
It's probably a good thing I only go every 10 yrs. or so..

so, dude - you don't have be depressed anymore. i've done some research. ever since yesterday, i haven't been able to get little lina out of my mind. so, i did what any self-respecting american (and some foreigners) would do - i googled the hell out of her.
apparently, she's in her late 20's. she has two children (both normal-sized) who live in haiti with her husband. she works with the fair for 6 months out of the year. in her "off" season, she goes back to haiti and lives with her family. she's fully functional and makes a killing off of the sideshow. she likes interacting with the people that come see her (she must've been having a bad day when we saw her) and she especially loves when people speak her language.
so, its okay. you can rest assured that we're only like 45% lame, instead of 98% lame like we all thought yesterday.
still, i'm going to make it a goal to NOT visit any more sideshows. i don't think i can mentally handle the look on jon's face again. i'm STILL laughing about how fast he ran out of there. hahahahahahahaha
I went to the B Spears concert their too! Way too good! Love junior high! haha
